What a Pull

Free, open-source microlearning for everyone.

When
September 2026 – Present

I’m building What a Pull because learning a little every day shouldn’t require another subscription. My goal is a full-featured, open-source microlearning app that anyone can use for free.

Evolving prototype. Still in development.

The working guest demo: moving the depth slider expands a short idea into an explanation and example. No audio.

Learning without a subscription

Short lessons, useful sources, and ways to remember what you read belong in one place. I want to make that experience freely available, with source code people can inspect, change, and build on.

Read a little. Go deeper.

The aim is to connect discovery with remembering: explore a short idea, follow its sources, save it, and return to it later. I’m building toward that experience in an evolving prototype.

  • Source-backed ideas and imported learning material
  • Variable reading depth, audio, and offline reading
  • Saved ideas, knowledge connections, and spaced review

Building the whole product

I handle research, design, the Next.js application, Supabase data models, AI generation, and deployment. I use coding agents while owning the technical decisions, debugging, and security reviews.
